At present, Prince William has only got one, but his younger brother, Prince Harry has two! This has made girlfriend Chelsy Davy really proud of him. Miss Davy was with all her other friends - 170 members of the Household Cavalry, many of whom she got to know quite well when Harry was away fighting in Afghanistan.
After a 10 week 'tour of duty', Prince Harry was awarded the Campaign Service Medal at a ceremony at Combermere Barracks by his Auntie Anne who spoke to him for more than 30 seconds. The soldiers then paraded their bling through the streets of Windsor on their way to the Windsor Garrison church. There was a service held to remember British forces killed during the unit's recent six-month tour of duty to Helmand Province.
The 23 year-old Lieutenant, known to his mates as the 'Ginger Ninja', is now entitled to wear two medals on regimental occasions; This one - The Afghanistan Medal, and the other one being the Golden Jubilee Medal, a gift from the Queen to mark her 50-year reign in 2002.
Chelsy Davy commented;
"Shiny!"
