CCN (Crazy Cal News) - Dublin - The first bribe from the Corrupt Bastards Club arrived at TheSpoof.com. It was earmarked for the editor, Mark Lowton, in hopes of being able to stop the writers at TheSpoof.com without having to bribe the writers individually.
"That Mark's a good ol' boy," said President Bush. "He'll probly play ball. He doesn't pay his writers anyway, sos he sounds like our kinda' guy."
"As I said before," said Lowton, "We won't sell for less than $1.5 Billion."
The Corrupt Bastards Club is now considering going directly after the writers, especially Gnarly Eric, queen mudder, Moose&Squirell, and Cal Jennings.
"If they won't play ball, we have other ways of dealing with them," said Corrupt Bastards Spokesperson, Dick Cheney.
