Nasa admits mistake when they predicted a massive asteroid that will collide with earth in may 2126 was wrong and now says it may be here as early as next Tuesday.

The asteroid currently travelling at 14.9 kilometres per second is said to be 1 mile long shaped like a bullet with impact locations stretching from the Atlantic Ocean off the East Coast of North America to Mexico.

Nasa's flight Center chief scientist, James Marvin said “The biggest problem, basically, is there's not a hell of a lot we can do about it .”

Named Dennu the asteroid was first discovered by the NASA-funded Sky Survey back in 1990, and is headquartered at the University of Arizona in Tucson.

Nasa says it will continue to monitor the asteroid over the next few days and says our best advice is for all non-swimmers to purchase a pair of arm bands.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
