Christmas Tree bauble Larry McWhirter has been asking his friends if they can go home yet.
Lockdown has meant that many families have brought their trees down from the loft, and have festooned their houses with all types of festive tat, meaning that the decorations have longer to work for, and less time hibernating in the loft.
Larry, a five-year-old green bauble, said: 'I put on a fair amount of weight during the summer, thinking that we would be sleeping for a bit longer, so I am not looking my best right now, and, to be honest, neither is anyone else. I suppose I am one of the youngest here; everyone else came from Woolworths. I always think that maybe next year, we will be kicked out. There used to be six humans in this house, but so far I have only seen two of them.'
Spider Shane Macdonald said: 'I am glad they are gone for a while. They are so irritating, shiny and bright, and I just got so sick of them all. I wave my fists at them, which is not so bad, as I have eight legs, so I can give the same gesture four times, without really getting that tired.'
