Following the sacking/resignation etc. of Dominic Cummings, it has been revealed that Number 10 no longer has any staplers or even staples.
A political expert, Noggin McWhirter said: 'I don't really need to put the cat amongst the pigeons, but Dominic Cummings left number 10 with a large book, and then we hear from Mavis the cleaner that all of the staplers and staples have gone missing. I don't know about you, but this is not a crime that would outdo either one of the Detectives Barnaby in Midsummer Murders.'
Of course, it could just be the case that Mavis has taken the staplers and the staples herself. At the time of writing, there are far more important things happening in the world.
