Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair has stated that he would really like his voice back, now that it seems to be being used by Rishi Sunak.
The former political leader said: 'My voice has a certain charm, charisma, and, without seeming to be too vain, a lot of gravitas when it is needed, so it is not surprising that the charming and charismatic Mr Sunak wishes to use it, but I would like it back now.'
Speaking on the subject, Mr Sunak replied: 'I don't really have the same voice as Mr Blair. It is just that, when we are on Radio 4, we sound quite similar. Don't tell anyone, but I have based my laugh around Jimmy Carr's. Obviously, you don't hear that, because there really is nothing to laugh about these days, is there?'
