A man in Doncaster has been savagelly criticised online, after his friends posted a short video of him kissing an ugly woman 'to win a bet'.
Mike Bragg, 33, was drinking with four friends, Steve, Paul, Dave, and Colin in the Munters Haunt public house in the Intake area of the city.
When a repulsive woman with a face like a welder's bench walked through the doors, the friends looked at each other warily. After some whispering and stifled laughter, something seemed to have been agreed upon, and Mike stood up, brushed his jacket down, licked his lips, and headed for the beast.
As his friends watched and filmed on their phones, Mike engaged the woman in some idle chit-chat, then suddenly lurched forward and planted his mouth on hers, as she struggled to avoid his grasp.
Turning away, he raised two fists in celebration, Steve handed him £10, and, five minutes later, the clip was on Facebook.
Outrage was soon in coming. More than 500 people commented to the effect that Mike was a heartless monster, despicable, disgraceful, and disgusting, while others said he was "desperate".
One woman, however, was impressed. She posted:
"He's cute. I'm in Donny. What pub did you say you're in?"
