Boris Johnson has sworn to stand by Priti Patel amid
allegations she bullied staff in several departments.
Outside number 10, Mr Johnson was challenged about his
ability to side step serious issues concerning his staff.
"Priti Patel is a nice person, she would never bully anyone, she could
not beat in a fair fight. She may rule her department with a rod of iron.
And give minions a sound beating, six of the best, trouser down, but
that is part and parcel of public school doctrine.
I was beaten at Eaton, by the head boy, in fact, I was his toast rack
for two terms, I may of had a sore bottom, but I didn't feel bullied.
No, I stand by Priti, and I am sure, with a few kind words, in the
ears of these detratctors, a swift, conclusion will no doubt be
whitewashed into oblivion, regarding the reckless unfounded
alligations, Priti Patel won't be answering, in the future.
