Gary and Lorraine Johnson, from Chutney on the Fritz, have just sat down to watch 1980s children's film favourite, 'Flight of the Navigator' for the seventh time.

The couple, both in their late forties, are watching the film because, even though the world is full of other films, it is one of their favourites.

'If you like this, then you will love 'DARYL' and 'The Never-Ending Story', the one with Columbo and the kid from 'The Wonder Years'. I will tell you something else, the actor who narrated 'The Wonder Years', he played the tall burglar in 'Home Alone' and 'Home Alone 2'."

Son, Tom, also in the room, raised his eyebrows, in the way that only teenagers can, and texted his friend, Sarah about the trials and tribulations of being in social isolation with parents with such bad taste in films.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
