Oh, if only Chutney on the Fritz actually existed.....

Alice Blenkinsop, Chutney on the Fritz's Tourist Information centre manager, has revealed that the pretty riverside town is more popular than it has been for years.

She told us 'Due to some interest from a character named as Monkey Woods on a satirical website, we have had so much traffic to our website. It has been unbelievable. I mean, we were only really known for Brian Asshat, who appeared on University Challenge in 1977, and criticised Bamber's jacket, hair, voice and answers. We were a laughing stock before then, but since this Spoof website has featured us, our popularity has soared. We had seven visits to the tourism website in the past few days alone. OK, it still has information about the Badger polishing festival that took place in April 2015, but nothing has happened here since then.'

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
