A row erupted in the House of Commons last night, proper big style, over the Big Brother affair and carry on and that.
It seemed that the two main parties have polarised round Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty.
Speaking for Labour Tony Blair said:
"Shilpa is being picked on and it's disgraceful that this is being broadcast on our TV screens. We've checked to see if we can ban these broadcasts but unfortunately it's one bit of legislation we haven't thought of imposing on the public, regarding the erosion of their civil liberties"
Replying for the Conservatives David Cameron remarked:
"This is no more than just a bit of harmless banter and nothing is really meant by it. And I don't mean anything by it either"
Minger Campbell, for the Liberals, then said:
"Cleo, Dirk and that chap from The Jackson Five are all quite nice aren't they? Yes lovely I think"
Police were called into the chamber to clear it of members as it looked as it was all going to kick off. Chief Inspector Plod of the Met told The Spoof:
"Nothing actually happened but we could see trouble maybe developing so we cleared 'em all out just in case. Mind, we did find veteran firebrand labour MP, Dennis Skinner, in the gents with a knuckleduster though"
