Police at Gatwick Airport have made an arrest in connection with the drone that have grounded 765 flights and caused a shutdown of the facility over the last three days.
Timmy Smith, aged 9, was taken to a police station early this morning after a tip-off from local youngsters who were given several packets of crisps in return for their information.
Several other drones were found in Timmy's bedroom, which officers described as "messy, and in need of a sort-out".
The investigation is at an early stage, but if convicted, Timmy is facing a right old ticking-off, and other sanctions from his parents, such as a few early nights, or, possibly, nothing whatsoever.
