Following the release of 'those pictures' of Kim Kardashian a few days ago, we can now reveal that it was, as some predicted, nothing more than a publicity stunt, and in fact a body-double was used. And if that was not sensational enough we can also reveal that the body used belongs to none other than Leonardo DiCaprio!
Part two of the saga has been the revelations by DiCaprio which may even upstage the original 'Internet breaking' photos. He admitted today that he agreed to his part in the spoof after losing a bet with Ricky Gervais at an LA party.
"Yeah, it was me," admitted DiCaprio, "although obviously there was a bit of Photoshopping involved. We certainly caught out the media with it."
He explained how the pearl choker in the photos allowed them to graft Kardashian's head onto his body on a computer. "Also, my hands and feet don't look like Kim's so we had to cover them up in most of the shots."
DiCaprio said that he had gone into training for the photo shoot as he needed to lose a few pounds and get toned up before he felt confident enough. He also had to practice the Champagne trick.
But what about those full frontal pictures? DiCaprio has an explanation:
"They stripped me down, and then glued a porcelain soap dish 'down there'. I mean, it was obviously not a real lady's part, I can't believe anyone fell for it. The rest of the body was mine, though. Still, by the time they had hosed me down with Veet, sprayed me with a couple of coats of Ronseal and then spritzed me with salad dressing I was ready for posing."
