Gary Flatters from Northwich admitted on Thursday night to spying on his next door neighbours "The Holt's" family, in a desperate attempt to fill the void for entertainment in his life.
"Since I finished watching Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad DVD Boxsets, I needed to watch some drama unfold that didn't involve myself" said Mr Flatters whilst wearing a dressing gown and stood at his front window holding binoculars.
"Watching the neighbours has helped fill that space a little until the next killer TV series comes out"
Although Mr Flatters admitted that his new hobby doesn't quite match his favourite shows for high-stakes tension "it has it's moments though, Mrs Holt has been arguing with her son Elliot quite a lot recently because he's not concentrating on his homework enough. But it doesn't look like they'll be any resolution to it anytime soon."
