A newspaper editor has apologised today after a typo error suggested that the behaviour of Chelsea footballer John Terry was a threat to the well being of the London 2012 Olympics.
The headline should have read 'terror threat' referring to Al Quaida groups, but a tired hack working the overnight shift naturally assumed it meant the bad boy cockney born Terry, who has hit the headlines in recent times for an affair with a team-mates missus, accusations of racist comments to an England team-mates brother, and stories of large mortgages despite earning half a million quid a month.
The Stun editor said 'On this occasion he's not guilty!'.
The typo has since been corrected in the online version of the paper.
