Ministers have denied there is to be a shortfall in security in the coming Olympic Games. They insisted this was an "oversight" and security is to be expected at full capacity.
Brian Binns, MP for Heathrow and Gatwick said "I don't know what all the fuss is about. We sorted this months ago. We have trained baggage handlers from London's airports to step in and act as security. It will be a wonderful experience for them, for us and for London."
Visitors to London are advised to carry hand luggage and, if possible, to help confused baggage handlers with security.
