Tottenham Hotspur are contending West Ham's 14-0 win in the fixture between the two teams last season.
A spokesman for Spurs told me that the 'goals West Ham scored only went in because our goalkeeper was looking at several lightly clad girls who were placed behind his goal. This was unfair.'
West Ham denied any wrong doing and are taking Spurs to court for suggesting West Ham had anything to do with lightly clad girls. 'Our strip has always been claret and blue - we can't help it if our fans remove clothing in their excitement at our games. In any case the goalie should have been able to control himself!'
The future of the 14-0 result is still being disputed by desperate Spurs fans who are unable to accept that they were soundly beaten in a fair contest.
Meanwhile Leyton Orient directors are considering whether both Spurs and West Ham are fit to play in the Olympic Stadium, since they have both been behaving badly.
