The England women's footy team got off to a great start at the World Cup in Germany today by taking the lead against the Mexicans something that their male colleagues failed to do at any time in South Africa last year.
The England coach, Hope Powell, is determined that her team puts on a good old fashioned British Bulldog show in Germany. She also is determined to put some international respect and pride into English footy and prove that the English male national team were and still are a bunch of spoilt "pussies" (which would normally apply to females).
The debacle of the World Cup and the recent "boot out" of England's U 21's at the recent European Championships have proven the point that English male national soccer is a joke and it needs the women to regain some pride.
Just like in WWII when England was on it's knees (not very pleasant when you've got cocky Germans hanging it out) English women were called to duty; they cut the balls off of German paratroopers, sent them home ball-less, and saved the country while the men were "pussy-footing" it up on the beaches of Normandy.
Hopefully the English women can represent the St.George flag with pride and prove to the world that the English are not just "pussie footies", but do have the best "pussy footers" in the world, amen!
