Steve Bruce has often wondered if the comments made by his family, friends and colleagues, regarding the possibility that he is, somehow related to American, Late Night Talk Show host, Jay Leno, may indeed be true.

There is definitely a marked resemblance between the two, although, admittedly, Steve's chin is somewhat 'shorter' than Jay's. This aside, it is a safe bet that the two ARE related.

Jay has stated that he would be proud to find out that he is indeed related to Steve and is willing, if this fact is proven, to share his collection of motorbikes with Steve if Steve is willing to share his managerial duties with Jay.

Jay says he isn't concerned about the 'team' Steve manages in the future....but wishes to be involved in the sport.

Apparently Jay has always loved English Football, considering American Footballers to be wimps.

"Just take a look at the padding they wear," said Jay, at a recent interview.

"Also, those freaking Hockey Players who get millions of dollars for playing. Shit...they're on and off the ice more times than the panties of a very busy prostitute. Call THEM (hockey players) athletes? I think not.

Now...soccer players....sorry....football players are, for the most part, running around for a full 90 minutes, taking knocks without padding. They are TRUE athletes and I would be so proud to be connected to them."

When asked how he would feel if DNA tests prove that he is NOT indeed related to Steve Bruce...Jay answered,

"No big deal....I'll just go out and BUY a football team".

More as we get it.
