West Ham Away Win!!!!

'Do you realise that this is our first victory away from home in the league for 16 months?' Penny Smythe exclaimed to her boy friend, Leyton Orient Junior prospect, Terry Smith.

'That was our first match last season when we beat Wolves. I believe we were top of the table for a few hours. A long time ago.'

'But 3-1 away to Fulham. Fulham must be absolutely terrible.'

'They are. At this rate London will be without two Premier teams next season.'

'Come on West Ham are on the way up now. Carlton Cole scored twice. When did he last score two in a league match?'

'Goodness knows. It was certainly a long time ago.'

'I suppose Avram is safe now?'

'Could be for 2010. He needs another win though. Grant looks a real misery, but I think that's how he looks all the time.'

'Two seasons at the foot of the table can't be too much fun.'

'No. It hasn't been.'

'But Christmas has presented us with a present. The future is ours.'

'Thanks Penny. We have a great future together in prospect.'
