Injured Arsenal captain, Cesc Fabregas, is at the centre of a spitting storm this morning, after he inadvertently emptied the contents of his gob over the trainers of Hull City assistant Brian Horton after the 6th round FA Cuptie between the two clubs at the Emirates Stadium last night.
Fabregas, who is recovering from knee surgery, also appears to have a heavy cold and a chesty cough, and decided to clear a sticky build-up of mucus from his throat in the tunnel as the teams were leaving the pitch after the Gunners had won 2-1 with two controversial late goals.
The resultant 'gollie' flew from his mouth and onto the trainers of Horton, who became extremely angry with the Spaniard.
Hull manager Phil Brown condemned the Arsenal man's actions, saying:
"The' might do it in Europe, but we don't want any of that here, the filthy fucken' bastard!"
As usual, Arsene Wenger didn't see the incident.
