David Bentley puts Spurs into the lead.

Leading sports analysts are at a loss to explain the recent football match victory by a Spurs team.

Ambulances had to be called to the stadium shortly after the final whistle as hysterical fans poured out into Tottenham High Road, one man had to be restrained by police for excessive happy dancing.

Top football pundit Keira Knightly said "It was quite an unbelievable event, no one could see it coming."

Top UK scientist Professor Hugh Jarse explained "This all goes to prove that the scientists working on the LHC have unleashed oddities that we cannot begin to understand, next thing you know they will be keeping a clean sheet!"

Spurs boss Juande Ramos was unable to provide an explanation. "Would you Adam an Eve it!" he exclaimed "The lads are 'avin a right old knees up in the changing rooms and I'm off to join em once I've got some jellied eels inside me and no mistake." continued a jubilant Ramos.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
