CARPINTERIA, California - (Sports Satire) - Former NBA super star Shaquille O'Neal is being courted by Left Coast College to be the new head coach of the Fighting Dragons.
Last year the Drags finished with a pitiful record of 1-29, and were outscored in the season's final game by Babe Ruth University (NYC) by a score of 107-18.
Hercules Confetti with Sporting Chance Magazine stated that the former Los Angeles Laker, met with the director of LCC's athletic department at a Pizza Hut.
The two discussed his salary, his perks, and the fact that he would be the largest, heaviest head coach in the nation's NCAA basketball programs.
O'Neal would not reveal what LCC offered in terms of salary, but info guru Andy Cohen, stated that the figure is somewhere between $1.7 and $1.9 million.
Cohen did state that Left Coast College will also be throwing in a thoroughbred race horse and a one year supply of IHOP pancakes.
