When it comes down to newsworthy sports stars, they don't come much bigger than former Manchester United, Real Madrid and England footballer, David Beckham, but the international playboy is in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons this evening, as New Orleans police have said that one of his sons is a wanted man.
Beckham Jnr. is being sought by the police in connection with the theft of a simple battery - probably to put in one of his collection of remote-controlled cars, helicopters or other toys.
The youngster also stands accused of handing out money to students at Louisiana State University, although this may have been from one of his games, such as Monopoly, and quite worthless.
