Tranmere, UK - (Lardarse Mess): A campaign targeting Merseyside football club Tranmere Rovers is pissed off at daft political correctness after fans’ nicknames were branded LGBT crap.
Affectionately known as the Trannies, the Prenton Park, Birkenhead-based League Two supporters club is livid at twinning with UK trans-sexual movement members who reckon the nickname ‘grossly offensive’.
And now the entire brouhaha may end up in court.
“I’ve been a ‘Tranny’ most of my professional life,” Tranmere FC owner Mark Palios commented.
“And the majority of our supporters are totally straight.”
The club famously lost 17-NIL to Tottenham Hotspur in a recent FA Fourth Round meet-up where Spurs’ Harry Kane scored all the goals.
