LOS ANGELES - Kobe Bryant's body may be hurting but there is certainly nothing wrong with his mouth as former teammate Shaquille O'Neal has found out.
Bryant met with Rufus Reno of Sports Balls Illustrated Daily at a Giggling Guacamole Restaurant in downtown L.A.
He told Reno that even though his brain wants to play, his body is telling him, "Sorry Kobe, no can do."
Kobe said that Jack Nicholson calls him every day and asks how he's doing.
Bryant was asked if he ever talks to his old teammate Shaquille O'Neal.
Kobe responded by saying never and adding that he has no desire to talk to that fool who he says was one of the laziest players in the history of the Lakers team.
Bryant pointed out that Shaq was so lazy he would get some of the younger teammates to tie his shoe laces.
Once he even had Luke Walton hand feed him six hot dogs during halftime.
SIDENOTE: Shaquille was contacted by Reno and told about Kobe's remarks. Reno asked Shaq if he had a comment. O'Neal burped and said to tell Kobe that the next time he sees him he is going to use him as a friggin toothpick.
