OKLAHOMA CITY - Coach Scott Brooks of the Oklahoma City Thunder has said that even he is surprised at the fantastic play of his Oklahoma team.
The Thunder's record is presently an amazing 43-12. Coach Brooks added that Kevin Durant is playing like the best player to ever play in the NBA.
He noted that even when Kevin shoots and misses he still looks damn good and the fans still clap.
Coach Brooks said that if he had to pay to see the Thunder play he would gladly do it.
Kevin Durant (#35) is a very modest individual who when asked what makes him so darn good, shrugs his shoulders, and replies, "I guess it must be that Louisiana voodoo book I bought at a flea market in Lake Charles, Louisiana last year."
He smiles, shakes his head and says, "Nah, I'm just darn good because I tell myself to play like I'm the best player in the world, and I have succeeded in convincing myself of that."
Teammate Thabo Sefolosha says, "Dat Kevin dude he just is too darn good and he makes all of us look too darn good too."
SIDENOTE: And as Coach Brooks pointed out the Thunder is doing it all without their second best player Russell Westbrook who is still out with a duodenum injury plus a bruise to his left cheek.
