OKLAHOMA CITY - Friday the 13th proved to be good for the Oklahoma City Thunder and horrendous for the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Thunder stomped the Lakers 122-97 on a night when the Lakers Kobe Bryant only scored 4 points.
The game which was played in The Chesapeake Energy Arena had Thunder written all over it as Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook each scored 31 points.
Thunder Coach Scott Brooks stated that Kev and Russ could have played using only one arm and they would have still walloped the boys in purple and gold.
After the game Kobe was asked by Sporting Chance Magazine's Hercules Confetti how he felt. He grinned and said that he felt like he had just been sat on by Wynonna Judd, John Goodman, and Kirstie Alley.
He pointed out that in the third quarter he actually got dizzy from watching Durant and Westbrook run rings around him and his teammates.
Confetti noted that the Thunder cheerleaders stopped cheering at the end of the third quarter since Oklahoma City was up by 20 points.
After the game Confetti talked with Durant and Westbrook and asked them how they felt. Both had a hard time trying to stop laughing, but when they finally gained their composure they said that they had a hell of a lot of fun.
Russell compared it to being in a candy store and just taking whatever candy they wanted.
