LISBON, Portugal - The Portuguese government has informed the scientific world that it has just developed a state-of-the-art submarine.
The submarine dubbed El Submarino Fantastico (The Fantastic Submarine) is capable of traveling from the Portuguese capital of Lisbon to New York City in just two hours.
Scientists who developed ESF remarked that they spent three years developing the vessel and one year testing it (all done in total secrecy).
El Submarino Fantastico carries a crew of just two sailors and it can travel at speeds of up to 1,500 mph underwater and 1,485 mph above water.
ESF is capable of carrying up to five dozen (60) Polaris missiles which could hit any city in the world from any location on Earth.
SIDENOTE: Portugal will try to sell the rights to El Submarino Fantastico to the United States. They have commented that North Korea's Kim Jong Un has told them that he wants to have first crack at the ESF.
