Think it's fun to glow green in the dark? (If you're so inclined, you can read about the green pigs here on the website of The Los Angeles Times).
Many of the green pigs are not happy campers. One pig complained, "What do they think we are? Christmas trees or something?" Another pig pointed out, "All the clothes in my wardrobe have been color coordinated to go with my nice pink skin. Now it's back to the drawing board."
Kermit the Frog is sympathetic to the plight of the pigs, reminding the world that he's always said, "It's not easy being green."
One of the pigs said he was enjoying thinking about what would happen after they were slaughtered, as lovers in darkened rooms of hotels the world over call room service and order up a nice breakfast of bacon and eggs. "Hope they enjoy their GREEN bacon, serves them right," the pig said with a laugh.
Another pig was also quite upbeat. "Look on the bright side of the here and now," he said, continuing, "at least we're ready for St. Patrick's Day!"
