Mugs Like The Ones Dexter Used

Popular Scientist, Dr. Denver Colorado has been at it again and today proven that a watched kettle will actually boil.

Denver, 43, from Cleethorpes University is an absolute Science boffin and loves solving things in the name of Science.

I've often thought that this particular statement was a bit of old waffle but never done anything to try to prove it.

I've always been a bit scared of hot water, ever since I tried to make a tinned sponge pudding. The instructions said just stand in boiling water for 15 minutes. I burned my feet terribly before realising it meant the tin and not me!

Today though, not only have I conquered my hot water fear, I've actually seen the water boil. I watched it from start to finish.

Doesn't boil! It took 67 seconds which is pretty quick I believe.

Another thing I learned is that the kettle will boil even if you don't look at it, so I did just that, practically ignored the kettle, got three mugs from the cupboard, put a tea bag in each one, and made me and two other scientists a lovely brew. There's nothing you can't achieve if you apply yourself. I'm quite proud of myself.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
