image for Snopes debunks Ron Paul Myth
This photo is a complete fabrication

"Ron Paul is a complete fabrication of the internet. He never actually existed but the idea of Ron Paul was enough to keep him alive in the feeble minds of internet forum nerds." said the Snopes website today.

"Our investigation dug up some surprising finds along the way." said Snopes founder Gerald Snopes. "For example did you realise President Bush claimed to have met him on several occasions when they were both hunting for WMD's? Turns out neither of them existed!"

"Another surprise was about Ron Paul's book which went to number one on Amazon. I actually bought a copy and it is just page after page of the words 'I can Haz President?' printed over and over again."

A spokesman for Ron Paul said "Ron Paul will win the election and his running mate the Loch Ness Monster will preside over the greatest years this country ever had. Now if you'll excuse me my Mum says it's dinner time."

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
