After Sepp Blatter's "Crisis, What Crisis ?" press conference in Zurich last night, an increasing number of commentators are suggesting that the FIFA president and the Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi are one and the same person.
There are certainly a number of similarities between Blatter's apparent disregard for the perilous position in which FIFA finds itself with members of the executive board accusing each other of bribery, and the Libyan leader's denial of civil unrest while his empire was collapsing around him.
And what lends credence to the theory is the fact that not only has Gaddafi not been seen in public since the end of April - when Blatter first started to address the FIFA corruption claims - but also that both men have never been in the same room together.
Weird or what ?
