Following her recent pregnancy announcement on the daytime talk show television circuit, power entertainer and songstress, Pink admits looking to Irish Whiskey brands for inspiration on baby names.
Along with hubby and offroad motorcycle racing professional, Carey Hart, Pink reportedly didn't want to choose a "cute" or trendy metro-sexual name like "Carey" for the boy. Instead they both looked to inspiration from their mutually shared Irish backgrounds for name ideas.
Looking first to names of proud towns in Ireland like Ballylickey, Carrickmacross, Dufanaghy, and Furbo, the couple looked to other traditional Irish Whiskey names for more options.
Discounting Kilbeggan, Inishowen, Old Bushmills, Tullamore Dew and Paddy, the couple finally settled on Jameson. "Jameson includes bits and pieces from favorite uncle names in both their families, and it doesn't sound too ridiculous", said Jimmy Beam, Hart's race promoter. "Good thing they weren't Scottish", says Beam.
