Katie Waissel off the X-Factor - until recently subjected to online hate campaigns and media vilification - emerged smiling on the X-Factor's 'Guilty Pleasures' show after she won the hearts of the nation with a retro jazz rendition of the song 'I Wanna Be Like You.'
As originally performed in the Walt Disney film, 'The Jungle Book.' By a bear and a dirty ape.
Something to do with Rudyard Kipling, according to our researcher.
But the most remarkable thing about Katies Monroe-esque flapper style rendition of the song was that she named a writer from popular satirical website theSpoof.com during her performance.
None other than Skoob Entertainment News's resident lazy bastard in chief, Skoob1999.
Miss Waissel could clearly be heard to sing:
"Skoobie-doo! I wanna be like you!"
Skoob reckons that she's just grovelling and hoping for some stories to start bigging her up. He admits he's not been very charitable towards Miss Waissel in recent days, but has vowed to try to be more kind to the young lady in future, in recognition of her mentioning his name on the X-Factor.
"All right already!" Skoob told our reporter. (He isn't even Jewish) "I'll lay off the girl. I only got started on her in the first place because the whole show is so obviously fixed, and she bears a slight resemblence to my ex-wife - who also had a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp."
More as we get it.
