image for X - Factor Aiden Grimshaw to perform This Charming Man
not a dead branch but celery will do

The popular male X - Factor contestant, Aiden Grimshaw, is set to perform The Smiths, "This Charming Man" in an upcoming live instalment of the show.

He will be accompanied by his cousins, Jason and Todd, from Coronation Street and has been pestered by Rosie Webster, glamour model, slapper and wannabee to find her a part in his routine. This will involve stuffing a sock in her mouth, putting a bag over her head and chucking her in a plastic bush.

In a large scale production, the part of "This Charming Man" will be played by David Platt, feeling sorry for himself as usual, cause no one loves him. He will be taunted by natural comedian, Graeme Proctor, who will spray him in many shades of green to cover up his jealousy.

Aiden, himself, will stay true to the Morrisey version of the song.

In keeping with the Mancunian theme , it had been hoped to recruit Man U players, suited and booted to play many charming men. Finding them all unsuitable, sour faced and prima donnas, Man City players were chosen instead.

Todd and Jason will not sing, Graeme definitely will.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
