Wham bam thank you mam breaking news - George Michael jailed for eight weeks for being off his nut at the wheel of his car as he crashed into Snappy Snaps.
A Snappy Snaps snapper customer complained that in his opinion the sentence was way too lenient, as the star will probably only serve four weeks of the term - and that in a cushy open prison.
Not the type of prison where the inmates sleep with one eye open.
This isn't the first time the troubled star has had a brush with the law, but it's the first time he's ever been jailed. Sources inform us that he might be able to wake himself up, but he won't be able to go-go.
At least not for a week or four.
Michael was arrested in a prior incident at Hyde Park Corner at the wheel of another car on one occasion, apparently off his nut - but he got away with that one.
He was also arrested in Los Angeles, on charges of lewd and lascivious conduct in a public park, but he got off with that one too.
It's understood that he will be released in plenty of time for Christmas, so he can re-release the hit tune 'Last Christmas' again.
