Mike Holmes and Bob the Builder are going into partnership in an effort to attract a younger, more 'hip' audience.

Mike and Bob approached Susan Boyle with an idea for their first series. Susan has agreed that they may completely renovate her new home in Blackburn for their first 'joint' series.

Mike, as per usual, will be stripping the house back to the bare bones, if not further, with the help of Bob the Builder and the manufacturers of Lego, who have agreed to provide the materials free for this first series.

Susan is said to 'be up for it' as long as Mike and Bob do NOT use any of the red Lego blocks during the renovation as she has, for reasons know only to many, developed an aversion to the colour red during the past 12 months.

Susan has also asked Mike and Bob to sign an agreement, drawn up by her lawyers, to not allow her brothers any input whatsoever into the project. She is tired of them interfering in her life.

She said, "Och Am a big lassie noo and they can go and take a long walk off a short pier. They're fair getting on ma tits lately. Bossy buggers."

Bob and Mike willingly agreed to Susan's terms and are keen to get started on this new project.

More as this exciting story unfolds.
