X-Factor hopefuls Danyl Johnson and Olly Murs have seemingly abandoned all hope of winning the ratings grabbing TV show, following Simon Cowell's decision that the eventual winner's single release will be a Disney song from Hannah Montana - The Climb.
Danyl and Olly both complained that the song selection "sucked" and was clearly not geared to the more mature entertainers in the contest.
The inference is that Danyl and Olly are expecting the eventual winner to be either Stacey Solomon or Joe McElderry.
"The boys feel they're being shut out," our informant told us. "The fact that they're both pretty crap singers really has nothing to do with it."
Danyl and Olly are said to be gutted by Simon Cowell choosing a song they unanimously hate.
Simon Cowell was unavailable for comment. Which makes a refreshing change.
More as we get it.
