According to the California Bay Realty Company, Leonardo DiCaprio has sold his house for an estimated $8 million.
The star of 'Revolutionary Road' put the Malibu mansion on the market late last year, with an asking price of $7,999,000 and a deal was finally reached after the buyer "just happened" to find a thousand dollar bill in the driveway.
So houses can be sold in California.
Of course, DiCaprio threw in 100 locks of his hair (Be watching eBay auctions), and a fake Titanic prop lantern.
The property apparently consists of two buildings, a 2,374 square foot main house with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a smaller guesthouse.
One bathroom has three commodes and two urinals.
Both buildings have ocean views from atop a hillside and access to a staircase that leads to the beach below.
Leonardo, 34, purchased the property in 2007 for only $6.35 million and a French kiss for the previous 55-year-old lady who had had the house built in the late 1970's.
DiCaprio is believed to have split from his supermodel girlfriend Bar Refaeli last week after nearly four years together. She was seen loading her van with her belongings from the guest house.
It has been claimed that the relationship petered out because the 24-year-old Bar was keen to get to live in the big house.
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was there in person to collect the taxes on the sale.
