Playboy sex empire founder Hugh Hefner has put his dear old rustic family home up for sale in California for nearly 28 million dollars, the Los Angeles Times reported Friday.
A cool 27,995,005.65 dollars could get you living right next door to the Playboy Mansion, known for the sex king's extravagant parties.
The house comes with a permanent party invitation, a professional $10,000 telescope and a photographer's assistant's license to help photographers for the magazine do their stuff.
The two-story, 7,300-square-foot (700 square meters) English manor-style personal residence was built in 1929 and purchased by Hefner in 1998.
It has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a library and commons for the staff. Some of the walls are hand-painted, and there is a hand-carved staircase.
The home sits on over 2 acres, borders the Los Angeles Country Club and has a huge pool.
Hefner told the Times that he had turned down an offer by the Pittsburgh Steelers football team and a group of 1,000 teenagers who asked that they pay a monthly fee.
"Come on guys, this is a family home. I want to sell it to a family."
At last report, the Gambino family were interested.
