In a press release released early today by the office of HRH the Duke of Edinburgh (Prince Philip) husband to the Queen, it was announced that The Duke was taking a short break at the Playboy mansion home of boyhood friend Hugh Hefnopolis.
Hefnopolis who changed his name to Hefner when he became a US citizien is a second cousin and boyhood friend of the Duke, who was born into the Greek royal family.
Muriel Thripp, a senior member of the executive departure area reported that HRH seemed "very chipper" and had told her that it "was about time he had a few days away from the old trout and those bastard corgis"
The Queen's private secretary, Sir Gerald d'Herbert offered no comment when contacted by our office, however sources close to Buckingham Palace report that The Queen is "slighly miffed" and "a bit pissed orff"
It has further been reported that the Queen has ordered staff to reinstate her gramophone and seek out her collection of Tom Jones albums. Jones (98) was a well known consort of the Queen's late sister Princess Margaret.
