World famous singer and entertainer Madonna's well publicised attempt to adopt 18 month old Angsangammillik from her Innuit family in north western Greenland have ended in failure.
A source close to Madonna told me, "Madonna is totally devastated. She loved Angsangammillik and was desperate to protect this child from the threat of Global warming".
Angsangammillik's father Sumarimsillik, an air traffic controller from the nearby airport was reported to have angrily called of the adoption when Madonna refused to rub noses with his family to seal the deal.
"Madonna is an ignorant person and not a bit like she appears in her videos," he raged.
Meanwhile my source went on to reveal "She has only had this new nose for a few weeks and it has not fully bedded in yet. Plus it was minus fifteen degrees in the Igloo and Madonna felt that her nose was in a brittle condition and was taking no risks".
Madonna is now thought to be considering a trip to Brazil to adopt the remaining children of an endangered indigenous Amazonian tribe to save them from extinction.
