First it was break-dancing, then moon-walking, then rapping, then knife crime, but now, the new craze from Harlem is "neck rotation".
According to a report issued today by AMEY, the Association of American Ethinc Youth, youngsters are turning their backs on all the traditional activities associated with Harlem and are now "neck rotating", which consists of standing up straight in the middle of a room and rotating the head through 360 degrees.
Leading British Psychologist and chap with a really strange hairstyle, Professor Barney S Pottes says:
"This is directly correlated to a fixation with the 1973 film the Exorcist, where character Regan, played by Linda Blair, rotates her head 360 degrees when she has been possessed by the devil, or Michael Jackson, to give it the correct full name.
"Our Brethren in Harlem have latched on to this as the "new cool dude" thing to do, and I do forsee that it will spread to other parts of the world, in the same way as the wearing of silly scarves on their heads, the wearing of large diamante earrings in their ears and the installation of concert sound systems in their blacked-out, wide-wheeled 1997 model-year Corsas already have."
