H, yesterday..............close to an E

Following news that Faye Tozer from lamented popular beat combo Steps is playing Eva Cassidy, we can exclusively reveal that H from the group now has a new gig.

The cheeky pop chap will play the part of Salvador Dali in the new farce/musical study 'You melt my watch, I punch your face'. The musical was originally written years ago by Andrew Lloyd Webber, who in a fit of generosity and increasing bills has decided to turn every single one of his ideas into money. The casting of a pop band singer has led to wranglings with many actors.

Recent Oscar winner Daniel Day Lewis was in consideration for the role, as was Gene Hackman, both famed for their grittier roles and acting styles in such films as My Left Foot, In the Name of the Father, There Will be Blood, The French Connection, and Superman II.

Speaking to us earlier, Webber's co-writer Ben Elton said: 'Blair, Bush, Brown, a little bit of politics for you Ladies and Gentlemen'.

Other actors appearing in 'You melt my watch, I smash your Face' will be Trevor Eve, Kevin Whately, Clement Freud,Orville, Su Pollard, and the other bloke from Steps that no-one remembers.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
