The light-speed emergence into the world of entertainment of Manchester United central defender, Harry Maguire, has not gone unnoticed in Hollywood, and earlier today, it was revealed by Lucasfilm and Bad Robot Productions that the footballer is to make a special guest star appearance in the final - and ultimate - Star Wars movie, 'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' - as himself.
Maguire has taken the entertainment sphere by storm, and there seems no corner into which he cannot be crammed. The former Sheffield United, Hull City and Leicester City player has even been spoken about as the new James Bond, though only by me.
The addition of Maguire to the already-completed film was a major undertaking for editing staff, but so impressed was George Lucas by the Yorkshireman's meteoric rise to fame, that thirty scenes were rewritten especially for him, and he appears in full United kit, kicking and heading a ball, running, jumping, limbering up, and executing several sliding tackles.
The film is scheduled to be released in the United States on December 20, 2019.
