Epic fantasy TV show Wangs, Puppies and Other Mythical Beasts has come to an end after nearly 10 years. It has become one of the most popular TV programmes in the world, and has built up a fanbase so large that it even includes normal people.
Nerds were quick to bash their keyboards in dissatisfaction about the ending, calling it a "cop-out" and a "mess".
Uber-nerd Toby Inhaler whined, "What happened to the Oomplings? I'll never know now."
Geek Derek RSI was also upset. "Where was Flumpetta? She disappeared in episode 3 and promised to save the world, then we never saw her again."
As well as the numerous plotholes and unfinished storylines, nerds are upset that the main character Geoff the Destroyer and his army of emotionless Destructors turned out to be the bad guys.
Particularly angry are parents who named their child Geoff the Destroyer, who will have to live with the unforeseen stigma that name now carries.
The series producers appeared to be in hiding. TV reviewer Finbar Couch said, "This is what happens when you try to make a TV adaptation of a story that is only half written."
