After billionaires Donald Trump and Mark Zuckerberg declined to invest their billions in Kanye West, the struggling for coherence and self described musical genius is moving to crowdfunding for his next Album, KanyEgo Trip.
"I need a billion dollars to go on an ego trip because the dominant white media power structure isn't ready for a black genius such as myself," Kanye tweeted to his followers in a request for money. "It will take a lot of money to build the first black owned media empire ever," Kanye ranted on.
When reached for comment on Kanye's claims about the media and his request for money, Oprah only said, "Kanye is an amazing entertainer and OWN is open to providing a venue for his ideas and perhaps even a show."
Kanye lashed out at Oprah tweeting, "'Providing a venue', who is Oprah kidding? She should give me half of her network because I'm a genius!"
After raising $33,000 dollars through the Crowdfunded effort, Kanye criticized his fans for not donating enough, "That's not even enough to by another Hummer, you people need to dig deeper and appreciate my genius."
Update: After this story was published, Donald Trump announced a fifty million dollar investment and partnership with Kanye West to create the Ego Trip brand.
