SAVANNAH, Georgia - The word coming out of Savannah is that just when it looked like it could not have gotten worse for Paula Deen - it has.
The 66-year-old dethroned Southern cooking maven has just found out that her husband of nine years Michael Groover has dumped her and is going to be filing for divorce.
Groover who is 57, and a captain of a tug boat said that he just got to the point where all he was, was that Paula Deen woman's husband.
Michael spoke to National Focus Magazine and stated that he has never liked being in the spotlight and lately he has gotten a bit of a sunburn from being smack dab in the middle of it.
When he was asked if he had dumped his cougar wife for a younger woman Groover grinned, blushed, and said that he wishes Paula well and hopes that one day, perhaps with the help of Oprah Winfrey or Michelle Obama, she can convince everyone that she is not the racist that she has been painted out to be.
In Other News. Kat Von D has denied that she has a tattoo with the face of Charlie Sheen on her bottom.
