NASHVILLE - Country music artist Kenny Chesney has just told Yippee-Ki-Yay Magazine that he has just about had his fill of all of these prairie fairy rumors.
Chesney met with reporter Buck Yazoo at a Burger Belle in Nashville and stated that he's a straight shooter and he cannot understand why these ongoing sissy britches innuendos seem to just hang around.
The singer took a bite of his Burger Belle Cowgirl Burger and remarked that just because he happened to ride a Shetland pony sidesaddle seven years ago is no reason why he should be branded with the prairie fairy name.
Yazoo asked him about that night in 2009, after he had performed at the Voodoo Arena in New Orleans and him and fellow performer Tim McGraw were reportedly seen playing spin the bottle in McGraw's backstage dressing room.
Chesney blushed and said that it was just a joke. He added that Timmy had dropped the empty beer bottle on the floor and they both bent down to pick it up at the same time.
Kenny giggled as he said that they bumped their cowboy hats and fell down. Just then a Voodoo Arena employee walked in to empty the trash cans and she apparently read too much into the fact that they were both laying on the floor in their boxer shorts.
In Sports News. Now that the Jacksonville Jaguars have fallen to an 0-8 record some of the players have said that they are going to cover up their names on the back of their football jerseys with duct tape.
